I have known Sheri for a long time and she was the first person I thought of when it came time to find a new place for my family and I. I was so fortunate to have worked with Sheri and her group to find the right house. She helped us find a great house in the area for a good price. She was patient and looked at several homes over several weeks giving me several options to consider. We made a few offers and even though we didn't win she helped us keep a positive attitude. She was always working to make my purchase as simple and successful as possible. She had great answers for my questions and was great at finding homes that met my needs. Her team was instrumental in coordinating and taking care of all the details during the due diligence period. I will definitely recommend Sheri and her group to others.

My husband and I have known Nelson Bunn for many years. Nelson helped my husband find and purchase his first home in Raleigh, NC sometime around 1992(?); helped us then sell that home in 1999; helped us then find a home in Clayton, NC in 2005 and is now helping us to sell that home in Clayton this month, 2013.
Nelson is an honorable, kind, savvy business man. His excellent experience in real estate has been earned through hard work and persistence! Nelson is someone who does not believe that his business rules his life, so he does expect to work with his clients during a NORMAL business relationship. (Meaning not all hours of the day and night; every day and night.) We respect that and have never EVER had any problems during a sale or purchase with Nelson.
Difficulties do arise when you are negotiating a sale or a purchase. It's a lot of money and people do invest their emotions. Nelson has always helped us to see the real picture and to deliver the very best transaction possible, even through emotionally charged moments.
I have recommended Nelson to many folks in the past and will continue to do so. I cannot speak to any of the other staff...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - J D.Charleston, SC021Apr 24, 2014
Jack Arnold deserved this review a while ago - we are only sorry it took us so long to write it! We went to Raleigh because it was one of the four possible places we might be relocated due to work. We were very interested in learning about the Raleigh/Durham area. Jack is very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods in these two cities as well as other very important information. We went down between 5 and 6 times to research neighborhoods and homes. On one of our first few visits, we asked Jack about Carey and Chapel Hill. Jack gave us a great overview of the two areas and offered us listings with our criteria so that we could drive around those areas and decide if we liked them as much as we liked the neighborhoods he had already shown us. He was more than happy to take us into homes in either of those cities if we came back saying we liked what he saw. He understood our tastes and needs early on and knew we wouldn't like Carey or Chapel Hill as much, but he never once tried to dissuade us from going in that direction nor did he make any assumptions known to us. As I am sure he suspected, we came back from both areas quickly and said we were glad to have seen them so that we knew for certain we liked the Raleigh/Durham areas better.
Even knowing that we were not in control of our final destination, Jack treated us as if we were definitely moving there. He was quick to respond to all of our calls and emails. He greeted us with smiles and energy on each visit. When we asked to visit and revisit neighborhoods from previous times for comparison purposes, he was happy to help us. Jack is probably the most professional, honest, caring, sincere realtor we have ever met. We were very disappointed that we could not give him our business as home buyers! However, any time we hear of people moving to that area - we are sure to recommend Jack Arnold!! Thank you Jack! I wish we could find realtors like you in other cities where we've had to buy/sell!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary W.Raleigh, NC111May 7, 2012First to Review
I am so sorry that we ever had to deal with Mollie Owen and Hodges Kittrell Realty during a potential home purchase. Let me say that she and her broker in charge do not stand by their word. It would be a different situation if two offers came in at the same time but in our situation we spent nearly 2 full days negotiating a contract. She was at a funeral and instead of finding someone else to help get everything done, we waited hours between call backs from her during a contract negotiation. Then after going back and forth about 4 times, we verbally accepted the sellers counter offer. Because Mollie was out of town, our Realtor was delivering the contract to her as soon as she was back in town the next day. At this point, they had another offer come in and called to try and renegotiate with us. From what I understand, when you verbally accept an offer, the seller and real estate agent, in this case Mollie Owen, are extending their good word that they are being honest and will follow through. It is also interesting how hard they tried to get us to make an offer. For example, we received notes from the seller suggesting we call their neighbors and talking up the neighborhood. Anyway, the end result is that they wanted a bidding war over their home after we had already negotiated a price and were waiting for them to sign the contract. Not very honorable in my opinion and very distressing for us and our 3 kids.
