I love love love macarons and these did not disappoint! I had a buy 6 get 6 free coupon and 12 macarons with the coupon cost me about 17 dollars, which I think is average price for good macarons. I'm giving 4 stars because a couple of the flavors tasted a little stale, but I also sort of expected it because there were so few left of the flavor that I assumed they were from the day before. I took my macarons to go, so I didn't really check out the vibe of the place, but the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. It was cool to watch them making and assembly macarons, which as a baker I know is quite hard. I'll definitely be back and I think it's worth checking out!

This was such a fun girls night activity! My friend and I did the wine flights for $15+tax (great deal) on a Saturday night (plenty of seating available). You get to pick your wines and your macarons, which made it super customizable. The wines were decent (the cab blanc was a little too sweet for me, but I liked the cab sauv and the merlot) and the macarons were delicious! I got the (right to left) lemon lavender, pistachio, and cotton candy (once again, this one was a little too sweet for me but a fun blast from the past)! Everything came out pretty quickly and the workers there were very kind and patient as we sat and chatted for ~2 hrs.
The only negative was that the shop is a part of a strip of other restaurants and stores with one small parking lot, so we did not find a parking spot on site. We ended up driving one block over to find free street parking on the weekend, but it was a short walk so it wasn't too bad.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3928107Mar 1, 2023
Last night was definitely a great night full of macarons, charcuterie, networking, and fun at Mon macarons .
Thank you again @oakcityspiceblends and @raleighbiscuitcompany for the amazing charcuterie class (I can't stop bragging about it )Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 13, 2023
These are the best macarons and the flavors... ooh la la! Amazingly creative and so delicious! If I lived closer, it would be dangerous. I love their Instagram - super fun - and a great way to preview new flavors. These make a great gift and there isn't a flavor I've tried that I haven't loved!

It's hard for me to find a macaron place that I genuinely love and that are fairly priced. Some places, sell a tiny nickel speck of a cookie and charge you like nuts. Listen, I appreciate the art of baking, and I know it takes a long time to create these cookies, which is why it's so hard to find a great place.
Look no farther, Mon Macaron has amazing options for delectable pastries that will have you buying more. My go to macaron flavor is pistachio, and let me tell you how good they do pistachio. It's so creamy, and the cookie is the perfect crunchy yet soft texture. I love this flavor so much it hurts me. They also have other delicious macarons to try like: cookies & cream, berry cheesecake, and one of my most favorites: R. Velvet. R. Velvet beats B. Cheese barely, but they are both so delectable, especially if you have a sweet tooth. I recommend a dental visit after this place because you'll order 48 of these cookies, and wonder where they went over the course of two hours. Be ware of one thing, don't store these cookies too cold or it could ruin the texture. Other than that, go try this place right now!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Danielle R.Greensboro, NC99556434Apr 27, 2023Updated review
PART 1
I'm not local to the Raleigh area, but was lucky enough to have a 4-month class right down the road from this place. Having been here previously, I knew this would be a weekly trip during those 4 months. I've managed to try almost every flavor on their flavor card and then some. And I'm going to break them all down right here:
Red Velvet Cake: I'm not a red velvet fan at all. In fact, I hate it. But this was decent. Not too cream cheesy, real subtle flavor.
Lavender: Decent, not overly potent, but also not a favorite.
Samoa: Hit every flavor of chocolate, caramel, and coconut in a mild nod to the Girl Scout cookie. Yummy.
Blueberry Lemon: Really good. I love the combo of flavors.
Raspberry Dark Chocolate: Decadent and delicious.
Birthday Cake: A surprising favorite of mine. I don't usually love birthday cake flavors because they're sickening sweet, but this was like eating a mini cupcake in all the right ways.
Thai Tea: Mild and tasty, but not a favorite.
Rose: Another flavor that can be overpowering but this was mild. If you don't like floral flavors though, pass on it. I only got it once.
Spiced Caramel Apple: Seasonally tasty.
Pineapple Passionfruit: Delicious. I love the jam in the middle.
Berry Cheesecake: Super yummy. Tastes just like you think it would.
Lemon Cheesecake: (not on card). Absolutely delicious! This was the favorite of all the cheesecake ones we tried.
Blueberry cheesecake: Delicious, a little sweeter.
Peppermint Dark Chocolate: It reminded me of a peppermint mocha. Delicious!
Peppermint Bark: More like a white peppermint mocha flavor. It was great!
Whiskey Caramel: I didn't love it but my girlfriend said it was a good balance of flavors (and she liked it).
Strawberry Shortcake: Tastes just like those strawberry Good Humor ice cream bars I had as a kid. Loved it.
Toffee Crunch: Freaking delicious. Tastes like an elevated Heath Bar, and the crunchy outside is a nice balance of textures.
Cherry Chocolate Truffle: Delicious, rich, and elegant.
Earl Gray Lavender: Lackluster. I love Earl Gray tea but the macaron lacked that flavor.
Lucky Charms: It was a grown up version of eating a bowl of Lucky Charms (which is a good thing)!
Lemon: Classic, smooth, and delicious.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry: Yummy, a nice blend of the two flavors.
Blueberry Cobbler: Super duper tasty.
Crème Brûlée: Deeee-licious
Fruity Cereal: Tasted just like Fruity Pebbles but not so overpowering. Really good.
Irish Crème: Not a favorite of mine but it was good.
Gingerbread: Yummy and nice during the fall.
Double Chocolate: Exactly what it is. Really good, but I can't eat more than one.
Tiramisu: Tasty but didn't have much of a coffee flavor.
Champagne: Another favorite. Getting married? Definitely get this flavor. It's delicious and the macarons were beautiful.
PB&J: Surprisingly yummy. A grown up version of the classic sandwich but sweeter. I've gotten it more than once.
Pumpkin Spice: And everything nice. Classic and yummy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Apr 26, 2023Previous reviewPART 2
Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate: Heavier on the sweetness. Good but one bite was all I could do.
Salted Caramel: A favorite. It's the perfect balance of caramel and sea salt, which a smoothness to it.
Raspberry White Chocolate: Yummy
Mint Chocolate Chip: The only one I hated. I love mint flavor but this was too overwhelming.
S'mores: Another favorite. This has the perfect balance of graham, chocolate, and marshmallow in one bite, and the ooey gooey marshmallow in the middle is an excellent surprise.
Espresso: The perfect macaron for after dinner. A little punch and super tasty.
Butter Pecan: This tasted just like the ice cream. Very sweet, very good.
Blackberry: Good, but needed more of the fruit flavoring.
Wedding Cake: The other "getting married" macaron (champagne was the first). Beautiful, simple, and amazingly delicious. It had a yummy almond flavor. Definitely top 5.
Coconut: Simply, coconutty, good.
Pistachio: My go to favorite. If a bakery can't make a classic pistachio macaron, I don't bother with anything else. This place nails it. I get the pistachio every single time.
Nutella: Rich and decadent. And yummy of course. Be forewarned your mouth will be blue for a bit.
Cotton Candy: Surprisingly another favorite of mine. Reminiscent of Bruster's cotton candy explosion (without the explosion). Light and not overly sweet with a fun, bright color. Would be perfect for a birthday party.
Fig Honey & Brie: A delicious savory macaron that I wish I had gotten more than just the one time.
Strawberry Lemonade: Another success of two fun flavors, really yummy and the strawberry jam is lovely.
Maple: Good but very sweet. One bite was plenty.
Chocolate Orange: Heavier on the chocolate but tasty for sure.
Strawberry Basil: Excellent. Mild basil flavor that pairs beautifully with the strawberry. I've been patiently waiting for this one to come back around.
Vanilla Bean: Simple. No frills but good.
Triple Cinnamon Sugar: Tastes a little like Cinnamon Toast Crunch but it feels heavy on the cinnamon. I didn't care for it.
Cookies and Crème: Tasty
Dark Chocolate Coconut: Rich and yummy. One did me in.
Chocolate Caramel Swirl: Rich and smooth.
Ferrero Rocher: Rich and yummy. Tastes like the chocolates.
Sugared Cranberry: Good but I wanted more cranberry flavor.
Peaches and Creme: Really good. I wish it had a heavier peach flavor but I would still get it again and again.
Blueberry Lavender: Sweet, light, and tasty. I don't love lavender but when they pair it with a fruit flavor, it's always delicious.
Banana Pudding: On the fence. I didn't hate it, but I don't love it. It's slightly reminiscent of the banana flavor from Runts, which is that artificial banana flavoring I don't love.
Peach Mango: Love this flavor and the pop of jam in the middle.
Lemon Lavender: I'd say a favorite because I've gotten it multiple times. The lemon in the middle seals this one. It tastes summery and fun.
King Cake: I didn't love or hate it but I'm also not a fan of the alcohol flavor in it.
Cherry Almond: Definitely a favorite. I kicked myself for not ordering a dozen of just this flavor alone.
Cookie Dough: I'm not a fan of cookie dough flavors, such as the ice cream. But oh man, this may be top two for me. It combines my love for the classic chocolate chip cookie and macarons into one beautifully created, absolutely perfected bite size heavenly goodness. Don't pass this up just because it sounds like a kid flavor.
All in all, Mon Macaron has solid, delicious macarons. Their prices are good, their craftsmanship is consistent, and the employees are always so friendly and helpful. I can't attest to anything but the macarons, but I will continue to make the 1.5 hour drive solely for this treat.Dec 15, 2022Previous reviewSince the first round of macarons a few months ago was so delicious, I knew I had to get back to Raleigh for round two. This time, I ordered TWO dozen to satisfy my girlfriend and I for a few days. We ordered the wedding cake (one of our absolute faves), pistachio (my favorite), blueberry cobbler (delicious), cherry chocolate truffle (delicious and decadent and reminiscent of a Ghirardelli raspberry bar), lemon (citrusy and refreshing), triple cinnamon (like cinnamon toast in the morning), maple (potent and sweet), gingerbread (festive with the perfect amount of spice), peppermint bark (like a candy cane macaron), peppermint dark chocolate (omg the macaron version of a Starbucks peppermint mocha-SO good), cranberry white chocolate (light and festive), fig/Brie/honey (savory and surprisingly delicious), espresso (perfect for after dinner), rose (light floral flavor), champagne (beautiful and delicious-would be perfect for special occasions too), and birthday cake (tasted just like a cupcake). Every single macaron was nicely sized, light and airy with smooth filling (and sometimes a surprise filling), and with a light crunch. I loved trying all their festive flavors and by far, the peppermint dark chocolate was my favorite seasonal flavor. Overall, wedding cake and pistachio are my favorites. The surprise yummy macaron of the bunch was the fig, Brie, and honey being that it was savory and slightly sweet and a flavor I would never imagine in a macaron. I love all their fruit flavors and would have liked to have seen more fruity ones, mostly because they have jam or curd in the middle and make for a nice little surprise when eating them. By the way, the macarons come $25 for one dozen, which is well worth it.
Aug 27, 2022Previous reviewHoly cow these macarons are delicious! The shop isn't fancy. It's quaint with a few tables and a counter with with a simple display of macarons. But it also has a nice view of the macarons being made in the background. I stopped in and ordered a single pistachio. I've had some awful macarons in my life, and I'm not about to drop a bunch of money on a box until I know they can "wow" me with my favorite flavor. The pistachio was delicious. I subsequently ordered two dozen macarons, a box for me and a box to take home to my girlfriend to enjoy. It's been 24 hours and I've almost cleaned out my box. I tried the following flavors: tiramisu (absolutely delicious), wedding cake (top two favorite), pistachio (my favorite), vanilla (simple and elegant), s'mores (delicious, I could taste the graham and chocolate, and the marshmallow filling was a nice surprise), strawberry shortcake (yummy and reminiscent of those ice cream bars I ate when I was a kid), peach mango (delicious and the jam was a lovely surprise), Nutella (good, I only got a nibble before my son stole it and ate the entire thing), Ferrero Rocher (rich and decadent), coconut (very coconutty and yummy), lemon lavender (simple and elegant and not too heavy on the lavender), and cherry chocolate truffle (rich and elegant). A dozen macarons ran $25, and it was worth every penny. I will definitely be going back when I go to Raleigh next time. I would have attached a photo of the macarons I chose, but by the time I thought about it, I had literally taken a bite out of every one to sample them!

Mon Macaron is a really nice macaron store in Seaboard Station. The offer a large assortment of flavors and there is one for everyone. You can get some coffee with your purchase which is a nice plus. The ones we tried, Lemon, PBJ and Red Velvet were all delicious! Definitely check them out when it that area of downtown Raleigh.

Absolutely delicious and gorgeous macarons! My girlfriend brought me back a dozen of these sweet beauties and I was completely blown away. Their selection was extremely impressive and I enjoyed every single one. The flavors I sampled were; pistachio, tiramisu, wedding cake, coconut, vanilla, s'mores, strawberry shortcake, peach mango, Nutella, Ferraro Rocher, lemon lavender and cherry chocolate truffle. I loved them all with the lemon lavender, peach mango and pistachio being my favorites. We're both very appreciative of the love & care that go into making a perfect macaron and have only found superior ones in Charlotte and Atlanta. Now we have a place in Raleigh to grab some when we're in that area! Thank you, Mon Macaron for a truly wonderful and tasty experience; we'll be back as soon as we can!

Cute macaron and coffee/tea shop. The texture was great: soft and moist but the macaron was too sweet. Definitely an American amount of sugar not French.
The shop is decorated in the front but oddly bare in the back. Not much for atmosphere or experience:Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ciera R.Raleigh, NC796678Apr 12, 2023
I was sooooo enthralled by your extremely nice team and how you all thoroughly explained each item and it's pairing. I truly cannot express my gratitude enough with that.
Atmosphere is bomb for date night, self care, girl time, anything honestly. It's so aesthetically pleasing inside for great "little France" vibes.
Macarons
1. Lemon Cheesecake was perfect sweet and sour balance without any flavor overpowering the other. It takes careful attention to detail to maintain this. I also loved the surprise lemon meringue type flavor filling in the center.
2. Salted Caramel the main macaron part had a super subtle flavor to where you could almost miss it but the inner filling more than compensates in a complimentary manner that you cannot deny.
3. Chocolate was very good and had quality chocolate inner filling that was perfect balance of sweetness.
Cheesecake Lattes (Oat/Whole/2%/Skim)
1. Raspberry Cheesecake was one of the most prominent flavoring within the latte flight that was very yummy and I would love to try it even as a regular coffee.
2. The weight of the caramel sunk to bottom which kinda pulled from the full flavor punch of the latte, yet managed to still be a delight especially with oatmilk and whipped cream.
3. Chocolate Cheesecake was like a super yummy iced hot chocolate. It's not necessarily something I would frequently order but the chocolate syrup, it also sunk to bottom, quality was again awesome.
Overall I'd only critique mixing in of syrups but definitely loved the food, service, and beautiful decorations. Definitely added to the rotation!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
