Event Description: CycleBar, a new concept in premium indoor cycling that offers a high energy workout in a concert-like atmosphere, is celebrating its Cary studio grand opening by offering locals 2,500 free rides from Jan. 19 through Jan. 29. The community is invited to try a CycleBar class completely free anytime the first 11 days the studio is open. Registration is required and offered first-come, first-serve starting Jan. 9 at alston.cyclebar.com/schedule. CycleBar offers riders of all ages and fitness levels a low-impact and high-intensity exercise method in a pay-per-class model, with no membership necessary. The dynamic 50-minute classes take place in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre with LED lighting, wide-screen graphics and DJ booth audio. Riders can also track performance data and download music used in the class session. The new studio is at 5022 Arco Street, in the new Alston Town Center at Route 55 and I-540.
