Construction is about to begin on an office building in Cary that will be home to two internationally-known companies looking for room to grow. The six-story building overlooking Symphony Lake will be anchored by Chiesi USA, a pharmaceutical company that will move its headquarters there from across Regency Parkway, and Black & Veatch, an engineering, consulting and construction company consolidating its local offices. Both firms say they are making the move to to accommodate long-term growth. The Spectrum Companies and Batson-Cook Development Company are developing the project, which is called Regency Woods II. The anchor firms will each take up two floors, for a total of nearly 100,000 square feet, which leaves 50,000 square feet for leasing on the 14-acre site.
