I've been going to Excel for quite a while for personal training mostly now. I know that if I just go to a gym I won't work out, I needed someone to really "kick my butt"!
And that is exactly what I found in Aaron! I call him colonel because he pushes me to do my best!
The gym is great! They have Zumba and a challenging series called X, which I hope to someday be able to do!!!!

Great hour long boot camps with instructors that will challenge, encourage, and sometimes frustrate you.
The gym is primarily for structured workouts in a class setting. There are treadmills, nautilus and free weights which are sometimes incorporated into the classes but can also be used with memberships.
Excel offers kickboxing, yoga, spin classes, and various types of boot camps.
Fun, challenging workouts with knowledgeable instructors.

Ramesh S.Falls Church, VA11411Nov 7, 2016I am new to NC and wanted to try some gym. I tried only the first 3 free trails here, Unfortunately I couldn't join this club as its too far from my work place and traffic gets nasty in the evening.
Pros:
+ All the 3 classes I tried are simply amazing. Trainers really helped to push the limits and gave suggestions when I am doing something wrong in positions.
+ Awesome Front desk staff
+ No pushing or talking through to take membership
+ Month - Month Membership with no strings attached
Cons:
- Place is little worn out

I am so glad that you have liked our classes and thank you for your honest opinion. We are sad that our location does not work for you :(

Excellent facility, very clean and has everything you need. Staff is very friendly. COVID-19 procedures are in place for the safety of all members.

I did the free trial for this gym, and I did not end up buying a membership. The gym seems to be in an old office building, and it's just a weird setup. The participants in the classes were pretty clique-y, and the couple of instructors that I went to were just not very nice. I ended up joining a different gym.

I am so sorry that your experience was not what we had hoped to be, we will definitely make changes where we can. I really hope that you will give us a second chance and come back and try some of our X-series classes free of charge.I am positive you will love them!

This is definitely the best gym I've ever been to...The trainers and people both! :) Love love love their kickboxing classes. Best way to burn calories ever! Too bad I had to move out of state :( I would definitely join again if I ever move back here.
