Thank you to Lauren Ohnesorge for highlighting Blush!
Sometimes you get story ideas from your own life. Like when you call an infant childcare facility in Knightdale only to realize the wait list... for infants... is two years long. After the initial panic subsided, I started thinking there has to be an entrepreneurship story here for Inno. So I did a little digging, and of course Triangle entrepreneurs are thinking about this problem. So yes, I found a story. (And childcare options for this fall after several, several more calls) But the childcare crisis is so much bigger than can be expressed in either a Linkedin post or this story. Also. If you're thinking about having kids in 2026, may want to get on the phone now. You are welcome. #childcare #wakecounty #raleigh #womeninbusiness #100femaleentrepeneurs

We probably all know someone affected by a recent job loss or layoff. Please consider supporting our Women's Work program here at Blush Cowork this Giving Tuesday!
It's an incredibly tough time of year to be out of work and job seeking (and I know from experience). Last year, we created a program to give free day passes and conference room time for interviews to women affected by job loss or layoff in conjunction with our IFundWomen campaign. Since then, women have applied for hundreds of jobs, had dozens of interviews, and landed new jobs right here at Blush due to this program and the ability to have a space to focus on their job search even when they aren’t in a position to pay. As of September of this year, we have added a loaner laptop to our available equipment thanks to Lenovo. Your $30 donation goes directly to our Women’s Work program and provides a full day of access to our coworking space, computer and conferencing equipment, and interview rooms for one job seeker. If you are looking for other giving opportunities, please check out organizations such as Triangle Area Parenting Support (TAPS) and National Aphasia Association, Inc. (both have Blush ties, and we're grateful for them, too). On this Giving Tuesday, please consider giving to our program or another organization or charity that you believe in. https://lnkd.in/g5j5ZxuD

Need to assemble your team for an hour, an afternoon, a week, or a month? That's what we do here at Blush Cowork. Meet for a cup of coffee, a hybrid meeting (we have a large conference room great for this--just plug in), a day, or grab a private office while you figure out your 2024 plans. We can even accommodate a large team during your transition--keep your productivity up without the commitment of a years-long lease that you might outgrow in a matter of months. Don't put off until 2024 what you can easily accomplish in 2023. (Even if that's just a seasonal social get-together with your team.)
